The Humanitarian Development Department Introduction

In our group, we collect photos from Tzu Chi volunteers from activities all around the world. We organize and classify these photos and input the information related to the photos into a Digital Images Database Management System.
This Database Management system has the ability to search for photos and can provide photos to any of the departments which require specific photos for use in publications, on posters, and other promotional materials in the Tzu Chi organization.
We upload recorded photos to the Tzu Chi web page on the Photo News platform, so that people can understand new Tzu Chi activities all over the world, and we are also able to capture and pass on the beauty of goodness to the world, and to help purify the hearts of people in this world.
We produce material and manuals to help educate documentation volunteers, so they can understand the missions of Tzu Chi and be able to operate the camera to record Tzu Chi's activities to purify people's minds.  The documenting volunteers are also be able to arrange their photos.
We also backup all of the data to prevent the loss of data.
